Day 1: Arrival Day

Today you will arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and picked up with our Safari guide and drive to Arusha for your dinner and overnight at Serena Mountain Village Lodge.

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park/ Lake Manyara National Park

Early breakfast before you drive to Tarangire National Park by Land cruiser, crossing the Maasai Steppe. Tarangire National Park is Tanzania’s fourth largest and one of its most diverse. Soon, the impressive of Great Rift Valley Escarpment will come into view – a 2,000 foot high wall that rises up, improbably steep and incredibly tall, out of the flat plains. Here you will have full day game drive in the park to evening. Zebra, wildebeest, bushbuck, dik-dik and guinea fowl regularly cross your path, unbothered by your benign presence and going about their daily routines. You’ll meander along bush tracks and explore the Tarangire River’s twists and turns, finding elephant drinking and playing in the refreshing waters. In the evening you’ll drive to Tarangire Safari Lodge where you can settle in and relax before dinner and overnight of your first night in the bush.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park – Serengeti

After breakfast drive to Serengeti National Park with picnic lunch. Leaving the Tarangire National Park behind you will drive to Tanzania’s oldest and most popular national park, also a world heritage site and recently proclaimed a 7th world-wide wonder the Serengeti National Park. While driving to Serengeti National Park you will have a chance to do game drive en-route via Ngorongoro conservation area. Have dinner and overnight at Serengeti Serena Lodge.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park – Full Day

After breakfast you will begin your quest to discover abundant and fascinating animal behavior in the Serengeti National Park. You will spend full day in Serengeti allow more chance to see the game that Serengeti has to present for you. In here you will have an option of doing balloon safari. The day for the big cats, cheetahs, leopards and lions, while discover Serengeti game drives, stopping to enjoy a picnic lunch at your leisure. After your lunch you’ll continue your wildlife viewing for the rest of the day. Upon your return to Lodge this evening you can relax in the tranquility of your room as you reflect on today’s activities. Your exploration of the heart of the park has been both informative and adventurous and you’ll relish each moment in your unique surrounds. Few travelers ever have the privilege of seeing, “the world as it was in the beginning.” Have dinner and overnight at Serengeti Serena Lodge.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Conservation area

Early in the morning game drive then return to the Lodge for breakfast. After breakfast you will leave the enchanting Serengeti National Park only to be presented with another natural wonder of the World, Ngorongoro Crater. We will stopover at Olduvai Gorge, boasting with a history dating back to the dawn of time. It was here, that the anthropologists Drs. Lois and Mary Leakey discovered the skulls of ‘Nutcracker Man’ and Handy Man, both very significant links in the chain of human evolution. This incredible formation is part of the larger Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which covers more than 8600 square kilometers. The actual crater is 254 square kilometers and 610m deep. The original volcano was probably high as or higher than Mount Kilimanjaro. Your final destination consists of the tremendous Ngorongoro Serena Lodge, perched on the rim of the collapsed volcano, the Ngorongoro Crater, a world heritage site, often referred to as the eighth wonder of the world for your dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Ngorongoro conservation area – Arusha

Rise early for breakfast at 6:00am before you drive to the Ngorongoro crater whereby you will spend a half day exploring the crater floor. The area is world-renowned in its reputation and very small in its scale, so you will see other safari goers. Don’t let that distract you from the beauty of the place or from the fact that this remains one of the only places on earth where you may see all of the Big Five at once: Lion, Leopard, Bull Elephant, African Buffalo and Black Rhino. To maximize your time on the crater floor you will enjoy a special boxed lunch at a scenic picnic spot. Your journey will take you throughout this tremendous landscape that is constantly changing as animals move to and fro in search of pasture, water or east prey. Later in the afternoon drive to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your schedule flight to home.

The Holiday will be over today but you will have plenty memories to Savor and photos to show friends and relatives. Our safaris are tailor made and can be extended to meet your needs.
